What: The Indian Army has entered into an agreement with the IIT-Gandhinagar (IITGN) to set up a research and development (R&D) cell on the campus.
Where: IIT-Gandhinagar Campus
- The Indian Army signed an MoU with IIT Gandhinagar for a long-term collaboration.
- The research cell will work with the faculty and research students to identify problems and possible solutions for the Indian Army.
- The Indian Army research cell will share professional and technical knowledge including several areas of mutual interest with the IITGN team.
- IITGN director Sudhir Jain and Deputy chief of Army Staff (Planning and System) Lt Gen Subrata Saha signed the MoU at the institute's campus at Palaj in Gandhingar District.
- The MoU will result in meaningful realisation and efficient transfer of research into customised solutions for the Indian Army.
