“THE MARK OF A MAN… NEVER GIVE UP!

Famous Generals, Leaders and Sports person have been known for a “Never giving up” attitude on a given assignment, come what may! The likes of athletes Milkha Singh, General SP Thorat and L/NK Albert Ekk had one thing in common “INTEGRITY” which consumed all their passions to achieve their final goals, accentuated by an attitude which surpasses all understanding, ie ‘NEVER GIVE UP’.

In this context if one reads ‘OPERATION MEL ROSE” (World war II INDO-JAPANESE), under a British General, realized that the INDIA TROOPS far outweighed their expectations of valour in capturing and the surrender by the Japanese to the Indian (PUNJAB) troops under Lt Col SP Thorat, thus paving the way in halting the advance of the Japanese invasion of the Great Indian peninsular region and proving that the Indian Natives were one of the bravest fighters!.

“Never giving up” is a character trait that is seen in all tactical and strategical activities by the Leaders and the led that keeps them going and has never been quantified… nor will ever be understood, though many books and reviews have filled the Library racks…YET the trigger of this particular TRAIT is vague and obtrusive, unless you ask the INDIVIDUALS, who led with bravado!

Having met some of these stalwarts one may assume the following:-

IZZAT, Honour, Pride, Loyalty of a Person being tested.
They are ‘NOT IN THE PRESENT AT THE MOMENT …but the FUTURE!
Thinking of the Big ‘YES’ and keeping away from the ‘NO^s’!
Living a life of a KING than in the present, as a child!
Believing in not to ‘QUIT’ but ‘BREAK THROUGH’ is near.
The ‘SPIRIT’ is always willing to guide you to achieve the target/goal.
Innoculating oneself against negativity, depression or failure thoughts while keeping a positive outlook.
Knowing that to split a solid tree trunk you need to keep hitting on the Spot over and over again till it produces the desired results.
Being grateful to GOD having given an opportunity… TO LEAD!
